The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically limited our freedom of mobility, both within and between our global communities. We aim to free the movement of people who have low risk of being carriers, creating pathways to resume travel, and create safe customer experiences and workplaces.
Trybe.ID is designed to provide organizations with a smart way of bringing people back to a physical location, such as a workplace, school, stadium or airline flight.
Privacy is central to the solution, and the digital wallet can allow individuals to maintain control of their personal health information and share it in a way that is secure, verifiable, and trusted. Our technology is trusted to provide credentials to over 450 clinics in Singapore, issuing digital credentials to accompany their COVID-19 negative test results for travel out of the country. At various checkpoints on the traveler journey, including online or in-person check in, customs, or pre-boarding, TravelPass credentials can be presented to securely and privately manage record keeping of COVID-19 claims without exposing the airline to the risk of holding onto private health information. We are part of the Singapore Government HealthCerts initiative, as well as participating in other efforts globally to create standards-based COVID credentials.
Our platform is grounded in industry reference and open digital identity standards, from bodies such as W3C and the OpenID Foundation to prevent vendor lock-in to proprietary technologies.
Our adherence to open standards creates interoperability channels, maximizing credential utility for users since credentials issued from our platform can be held, moved, and validated by others following the same standards used globally in the decentralized identity community.
Our work is grounded in strong identity principles, like the laws of identity and privacy by design principles, to create solutions that put the user in control of their data and broad usage beyond singular use cases like COVID-19 and travel, maximizing utility.
